The passage you mentioned is in II Kings – forget the chapter and verse – that was describing one of the fountains or baths in the court of Solomon's temple. It gave the circumference and the diameter, which had a ratio of three. The fountain was, as best I can remember without checking, about 42 feet in circumference, and was plated with pure gold. —Betty
