SDL
Regarding SDL. I have just received a press release from them as they are my
distributor for Amigas.
They are not in liquidation but have been granted a UK Administration order.
This means they are protected from suppliers debts for 3 months. This gives
them the opportunity to restructure and consolidate the company as required.
They can still buy from their suppliers, each order being sanctioned by the
administrators, and can still supply to their customers.
The directors have invested more of their own money in the company. Something
they would not have done if they didn't thing the company could pull through.
I hope we don't see SDL disappear. They are a good company to do business with.
Must go now. I have a delivery – from SDL!
