Rather, how do you provide a login name and password different than what's in
AmiTCP's config files?

I'm not sure as I did not use AmiTCP to do it; I used Delphi's menu driven
interface (not bad–it worked!).. haven't been able to do _any_ FTP since I
moved to CIS.
