#JOUSTING WITH WINDMILLS
I am composing this message online, having spent the better part of the month
of October unsucessfully getting on the Internet through CompuServe on my Amiga
3000, unable to fully use AutoPilot for lack of good documentation on how to
use this fine utility, and unable to get AmiTCP running. Heck, I can't even
download interinstall 151 using AutoPilot, and I don't know why. I think I know
why I quit CompuServe 5 years ago after not using it for three years (at $1.50/
month even) Wasted 2 hours at work trying to initialize our Modem on CIM for
Windows, so I can't even get on InterNet using CompuServe and Windows. I think
this is all a big conspiracy of H & R Block to get us to waste a lot of time on
line, spending money on CompuServe, for a service I can't see much improvement
in in 5 years. I don't think I've missed much in being off line. Do
appreciate the help that fellow Amigans have offered, but I think we're
jousting with windmills.
