Scala MM300
John,
>>The transitions and animations on the Windows side just aren't smooth when
compared to the Amiga.<<
True, although we've done some pretty amazing transitions with the PC that
cannot be done with the Amiga. We've managed to incorporate some of the Scala
Amiga transitions on the PC, but you'll need a 486 DX4 100 MHz processor or
Pentium and fast Video Localbus video to match the performance of a standard
A1200 doing the same wipes. 🙂
>>I am hoping the Amiga can grab some attention over here where I work, but I
am not pushing anymore. I am finding myself becoming more of a cross-platform
worker.<<
Like I said, the PC hardware is cheaper, until you have the need for an
industrial or broadcast quality VGA to Composite Encoder or Genlock. Expect to
pay $2,000 USD or more for a good one. And you still don't get multitasking!
>>Good Luck on your future products..<<
Thanks.
Regards,
John Chang
