>>Sincerely, Ian, I definitely would buy a version for 3.1 only. That would be
GREAT! All in one.
'Tis not impossible. I don't have all the time in the world at the moment, but
I may do some fairly impressive things with it in the future… I would
eventually like to see the startup completely controlled by gadgets, lists,
icons or whatever myself… no more text-file crap. Some people love it but
lets face it we're not all computer experts. Not everyone knows what the hell
"Copy ENVARC: RAM:Env ALL QUIET" is doing anyway and its hard for these people
to make custom modifications when they have no real understanding of a startup.
It WOULD be easier to let a program (like AutoStart) create your startup for
you, so you could be more guaranteed not to screw things up, delete the wrong
thing, or put things in the wrong order. Its not obvious to all people why
certain lines need to be in a certain order… It would be ideal for AutoStart
to intelligently manage the whole thing.
>>se me da realmente bien es el ingles y el frances el frances? que bueno! No
entiendo una palabra!
>>y por ahora mi aleman es infantil You still know a hell of a lot more than I
do! I couldn't understand a word of any language other than English or
Spanish… not one word. German OR French might as well be Japanese to me…
The only language spoken in the States other than English is Spanish and in
this country its really the only foreign language that is of any use to learn.
Though my main reason is that I had a Spanish speaking girlfriend for many
years. Plus the fact that I'm a geologist and am currently planning a research
project in Chile, so I'm taking a few more classes in it in school. (Though I
suspect it will be a cold shock to go there because they sound a lot different
than the Mexican spanish I'm used to.)
Well anyhow I appreciate your comments and suggestions, and do let me know if
any other gizmos you want come to mind.
