Speed…no, I haven't realized any speed increases from the GURU ROM, I didn't expect it really since speed is a limitation of the controller itself. Reliability…most definitely yes, it works great, installation is simple. The GURU ROM is much more configurable than the GVP FaaastROM and it supports removable media devices better It is RDB compatible with the C= standard too, which is something GVP never really had exactly.
