I have a Zip drive hooked upto my 3000. Which Amiga are you trying to hook it up to? You have to run HDToolbox and do a low level format on the disks before you can use them. Until then, the Amiga, at least mine anyway, does not recoginze the disk. After lowlevel formatting, and rebooting, you can do a regular Amiga DOS format on the disk. Things should work fine then.
