To Anyone: I have a question to any AmigaDOS and/or ARexx Guru: Background: 2 machines; 1. A2000/DOS 2.04/68000, 2. A3000T/DOS 2.1/68030 What could cause the following problems/differences between the 2 machines: 1. On the A3000T, I copied a DPaint .iff file from the A2000. Double-clicked the icon, DPaintIV opens, but does not load .iff file with the message: BAD IFF FORM. But if I move the icon to the RAM: disk, opens with no problem. There is no problem with this file on the A2000. 2. Writing a simple test ARexx script on the 3000T. The script GURUs on a simple SAY statement. Initialize a variable m. Then in the statement SAY "Value is "m, the system TASK HELD and it GURUs. The rexxsyslib & rexxmast is loaded. On the A2000, this same situation causes no problems.
