to edit ABasiC program with ed form ED. Save or replace the file on disk, if you do not use a file name the current program name is used(what you get when you list the program). Now issue SHELL"ED 'program name'" where 'program name' is the name of the program plus a path to it(the CD command does not work with ABasiC in place). The ABasiC bar will go gost. Now hit Left Amiga and N this will send you to the ED screen. Edit away. When done exit ED as normal and you will be on the work bench screen. Hit Left Amiga M and you will be back into basic. Unghost the ABasiC window bar with the mouse and reload the program (load"program name") There will be your program all edited. Merge will work as well.
