To mix video with computer images you will need some hardware which CBM is
going to be releasing first of the year: a "frame grabber" which digitizes a
video frame so you can capture & work on it, and a "genlock" unit which fiddles
all of the TV synchronizing signals so that the Amiga and TV images are all
timed together right. Accodring to the local hardware guys (Amiga engineering
in Los Gatos, CA), these items are well along and work *great*. You will be
able to do your own Star Wars effects. The hardware is due out 1st quarter
1986.
