Actually, I did do quite a bit of testing with it over the weekend, and its not
just when the computer is on – certain programs seem to cause it to get faster
than having it just sit. I let the computer sit for a few hours on Friday and
didn't get any noticable time change…HOWEVER – I ran AudioMaster the next day
and within 15 mins the clock had gained 3-4 seconds! Now it could be anything
from drive access to mouse-clicking to sound-DMA causing it to speed up. I also
noted it wasn't 3-4 seconds each time I ran AudioMaster…Sometimes it was
normal after 15 minutes of running a program. Also, it isn't just
AudioMaster…I was programming in AmigaBASIC when I first noticed the problem.
I've really been trying to avoid having to take the computer back to the dealer
cause it's so much trouble, but if I can't find the problem, it seems my only
choice.
