Note that, with a different monitor, the changes in thickness might not be so striking. This is an indication of "non-conformity" in the monitor, nothing more. How about a dark, soft brown, or a tan, if you don't like green? I was never fond of amber screens, but you might try that too. I'm a calligraphy hack, actually, more than a calligrapher. Although I have done a few larger works, including an 11×14 proclamation for a gentleman who turned 100 last month. That was my most extensive work yet: gothic and italic in three sizes, gilded, silvered, and rubricated border. If I keep stretching, I might actually be *good* at it one day. 8) Rick
