Ken, Dot's Perfect is a ROM (well…really 3 ROM's) upgrade for Epson printers that gives you true NLQ mode, front panel selection of many options and a few other goodies. It costs $80. It's made by Dresselhaus and you can contact them at 1-800-368-7737 for more information. The FX-80 has a built in tractor feed…or at least those models of it that I've seen had one. Even if your's doesn't (perhaps it's the FX-80+ that has it built in), check with an Epson dealer, I'd bet tractor feeds for other Epson models would work. Which printer driver are you using? If you're not using the v1.2 version…upgrade, it's much better. If you are using the 1.2 version, try the JX-80 printer driver, just use it in black and white mode. Don
