Thanks for the complete and prompt reply. I knew some but not all, and the
decision is not an easy one, not knowing CBM's future plans for product
upgrades/options, but I think I may well sit things out for a time, as long as
software compatibility is assured (at least for now), and as long as the 1000
is supported by hardware upgrades. It's tempting, just a rather expensive
upgrade for no real immediate tangible rewards. Thanks again! <mr>
