The translator does the conversions from plaintext to phonemes. If you want to
feed it phonemes directly, you have two choices:
Feed fonetiklee spelld werds to the tranzlator — which can be tricky, as it
will try to apply it's translation rules to your input, or
send the phoneme codes, complete with stresses as you're trying to do, directly
to the narrator device, bypassing the translator completely.
