Peter, Please forgive if this seems a bit trivial, but, I would double and triple check the jumpers and switch settings on the MFB. There are so many that it is _very_ easy to miss one. I have been fighting a MFB in an IBM-AT recently and it is not the first time or machine that I have had trouble on. One thing that also bears checking is the MFB's battery. In a couple of machines at work pure havoc was wreaked due to clock battery failure that seemed to be other problems. Remember that the board (or battery) may have been around a long time even though you may have just purchased the board. David
