OK, I'll try. MacLink+ is published byDataViz, Inc., 16 Winfield St. Norwalk CT 06855 (203) 866-4944. They write translators that will pass along a fully formatted file from one format type (say MultiMate MS-DOS) to another(MS Word on the Mac) There are well over 25 traslators in MacLink+ that include many of the popular MS-DOS formats and go directly to MacWrite and/or Word. They can also to Symphony files and dBase files. A very handy tool if you are moving any quantity of IBM files over to the mac. The Dana Drive is a SCSI 5.25 and/or 3.5" drive and software that will appear on your desktop. It is more expensive that the Apple 5.25 and a bit more versatile (It can move files from IBM 5.25 to IBM 3.5) but the big advantage for SE owners is that it doesn't use up our one and only slot.
