I Have been using The old Jasmin 80 Drive with Ill88 since Ill88 was beta with no problems that I can attribute to the drive. I have had problems with the Adobe Illustrator 88 Preference file located in the system folder. I was working with Ill88 and found that eveything was black in preview mode, and I could not change the the color. At first I thought the document was corrupted but I found moving the document to another machine fixed the problem. After playing around replacing the Ill88 program etc. I remembered seeing the Pref file in the system folder. I threw it away and everything started working properly. Any idea as to what happened? A funny thing though, The same type of problem occurred at about the same time on another Mac I know of.
