Seems that way, doesn't it? <grin> As for cobbling to gether sampling software of this kind, I expect it *is* easily done. For instance, you have (1) a constant sampling rate, (2) auto-squelch operation (no incoming audio, you just save the pause time as a value instead of recording 2 seconds of space… (3) cmds to the sampler to [a] begin recording and [b] quit. If the record buffer is overflowed, it loops. Seems to me this verges on the trivial. What we _need_ is source code to (for instance) perfect sound. I have some, but it is incomplete, as best I can tell. I suppose I could take resource and rip their sampling s/ware apart, but I really don't have time. best thing to do is call them and "indicate" the potential market.
