I do not completely agree. We won't see an infinity of such articles although we will see a few. There is still an audience for them. Seeing an unfamiliar language used to build an old chestnut of a data structure helps many young programmers to learn the language because they need to deal with only one new concept at a time. And such an approach fits nicely into the space budgeted for columns and articles. There are works that teach C. There are works that use C to teach data structures or techniques to C programmers. The two are not often the same nor should they be. You do not need to apologize for disagreeing with or criticising my column. If you are apologizing for calling me a yo-yo, I accept. Now how do I get this string from around my neck?
