Winston, I don't know what the MMU chip costs, but I seem to recall seeing a 68020/68881 package going for around $200. Add $400 for 2 Meg of RAM and at my costs alone (retail) just the chipset and RAM is going to be in the $700-800 category. Add the rest of the stuff on the board, profit and that sort of good stuff and $2000 seems like a "reasonable" price for the time being. Don
