Larry,
I VERY MUCH doubt Avid will ever release anything for the PC other than the new
version of MediaLog, which is a software for logging video clips.
All Avid systems are Mac-based and they will stay so, and commitment to the
platform has been reinstated publicly on a regular basis.
If you have a PC and are waiting for Avid to come near your quarters, you could
be waiting for ever. I suggest you buy a PowerPC so you can run your Windows
software AND Avid.
I use Avid myself and if ever they (very unlikely) will move to a PC system I
will change job. I swear.
