Hmmm… you could be right. One thing I'm not sure of at this point is how
tight the focus on programming in TransAmi is going to be. If we decide to stay
a strictly programming magazine, it would follow that any graphics (or music,
for that matter) stuff we do would have a very different orientation than you
would find elsewhere… and in that case, I'm not sure a graphics tools column
would fit, unless it was specifically "using graphics tools to make your
programs better". If we were to broaden our scope a little bit, though – to
"Amiga technical magazine" rather than "Amiga programming magazine" – then a
heavy-duty graphics column would make more sense.
Unfortunately, the whole domain of ray-tracing/animation/video is more or less
outside our expertise, so if we were to cover it well we _would_ need at least
a very good columnist/contributor, or preferably another editor with the
appropriate background. Which brings me to the answer to your question… no, I
don't know any hot artists who are also good writers (tempted to say it's a
contradiction in terms, but I'm resisting). Do you?
