thanks Michael, I loved Bakersfield, even though it was kind of boring. Well, I have been studying on Cal State there. Regarding my problem: I checked the cableing over and over. The joke is: I can capture a video that is coming out of the VCR to my computer, watch it, convert it and so on. But I can`t tape a video to the VCR. I guess you are right in saying that my miro card is doing the job as encoder. Here are the specs: 16 Bit AT-Bus, LSi Single chip JPEG Prozessor, Decoder=Phillips Video Decoer, Encoder=Phillips Video Encoder, PAL NTSC, SECAM, etc. Should work, eh?! So, what is the bug? Someone told me I have to turn the VCR to AUX or channel 0 or whatever. But since I can see videos from the VCR, this shouldn't be the problem? Right? Or am I wrong? Since the TV is too heavy and quite a bit away from my computer, I can't check by connecting VCR and TV. Any other suggestion???? I would be very thankful !!! Marc.
