multi-media threat?

In response to the size of the Video Pocket Reader, this quote from the article: "Its slightly smaller than a paperback, weighs 8 ounces, opens like a book…" so imagine reading a paperback sideways. It shows a pic, one 'page' is an LCD screen, while the other 'page has some scroll, brightness etc. buttons. There appears to be a slot on the button 'page' where you can slide the wafer chip in. It shows a chip being inserted, and its about the size of a thumb. I wouldnt suggest it as a threat to presentation multi-media, but the pupose of CDTV isnt exactly in the office. When your average non-computer type wants a quick reference machine hell get the $100 VPR before he picks up the $900 CDTV. Just something to ponder on in the midst of all this multi-media hype!… Mark Eaton
