The current version of WP for the Amiga is 4.1. However, the latest
version permits you to export/import MS-DOS WP4.2 files if you have a
translator program like DOS2DOS, or a Bridge Board. I use it all the time
going from Amiga to MS-Dos WP5.1 and it translate everything, including
foreign characters very well. Unfortunately, the Amiga version lacks many
of the enhancements offered by WP5 and WP5.1, such as view, graphics and
variable font sizes. But all I do is write my documents in Amiga, transfer
them to WP5.1 and format them in the MS-Dos version.
