Brad, the cycle editor functions like DPaint III animation. First you define a heirarchy of sgments around the axis of rotation on the cycle edit screen. For bi-ped, this heirarchy would look like a skeleton. Next, in the Assign mode, you define which objects from the Detail or Forms editor are assigned to the individual moving segments. Make sure to position each object's axis at the object's base and scale the axis so that it is the entirength of the object. The cycle editor auto-scale these objects so that they fit properly according to your heirarchy. Use the Goto command to add frames to your animation. Each time you make a change to youcycle object, designate a key frame. When you have a cycle you like, save it to disk and then you have, in essence, a 3d cycle brush which can be inserted into your animations. –Rick /exit
