Rick, I saw some comments here on problems with brushes, and your comment that the Y axis should be sized at 1. I thought I was getting the hang of the brushes, but this puzzled me, so I looked back at things I had done with them. This only refers to brushes wrapped flat in both directions. I wrapped a Terrain object and noted that the deepest "canyons" were not wrapped. Looking at the brush axis, I saw that the back of the Y bounding box was at the point where the wrapping stopped. Moving that boundry below the canyons made for full wrapping. When I tried wrapping four brushes on different sides of a cube, they "bled" onto the adjacent sides as far back as the back of the Y bounding box. If I reduced the Y to 1, and positioned the brush in front of the object, without touching the object, it did not wrap at all. If I reduced it to any small depth and had the Y boundry touch the flat side of the box, it wrapped the front of the box only and did not bleed to the sides. This led me to the following conclusions: 1) Unlike Silver, the length of the Y axis and position of the brush along this axis are both crucial. 2) If the entire bounding box is forward of the object, it won't wrap. Some of the brush must touch some of the object. 3) It will wrap as far back as the furthest reach of Y. This gives much more control of brush placement than in Silver, but it was confusing at first.
