[ continuation ] marginal speed improvements and a bit more disk space. It also makes these floppies harder to read to those who do not have 2.0 or want to mess with mounting a FFS floppy under 1.3. Video Computer Resources has gone into Beta testing with our Point-of-Sale software. This software provides a mouse operated, cash register, handling three different prices per inventory item, along with 4 different tax options. This software manages a customer list as well as a inventory list. The ability to print a daily report of sales is built in (you can even print a report from previous days), built in security, etc. etc. This software is written in… you guessed it AmigaVision. It was basically done to see what we could make AmigaVision do. This program works best on a A2500 (A3000), but will run on a A2000HD. It will also operate a cash drawer. Anyway, we don't know of any other manufacturer of software that has a point-of-sale system, so we may be the first. 🙂 Anyway, that is all the good stuff I have for now. -mark= (Boy it is good to be here!)
