OK, Jacquie, you obviously tripped over something in memory….. <thinking – a rare process here>,,,, First thing, boot up with an original workbench diskette and go to the Shell. Try again and see if it works. Some programs leave things in memory, and it's just possible whatever might have been there could have conflicted with LHARC. If that did not work, please describe your system. Which Amiga? How many floppies? Do you have a hard disk? How much memory do you have? Then try and recall what was happening when the Guru came to visit. Was LHARC telling you that it was extracting files? Were there any files on the destination (whap:) diskette after you rebooted? If so, use the INFO command to see how much disk space is left. There should be enough if you are using a freshly formatted diskette. Which files got extracted? Chances are that the computer just decided to go on strike for a while. They do that all the time (and programmers make such a big thing out of artificial intelligence – it's been with us all along!)
