You must do the FMS: assign since that's where FMS store's its "Unit0",
"Unit1", etc. floppy files. These files hold the actual "floppy" data that
is accessed by the device driver. The "Unit" files are created once you
mount the device and FORMAT it. My FMS: directory looks like this:
Unit0 901120 —arwe- 10-Jun-90 08:43:22
Unit1 901120 —arwe- 10-Jun-90 08:40:31
Unit2 901120 —-rwed Yesterday 23:49:35
I have three FMS "floppies" on my system. Once you get the thing working
properly, you'll love it. Comes in quite handy for putting together disks
for clubs or friends.
