The ad is on page 37 of the November CIS magazine. It's a v.42 bis 9600
baud external modem, with no brand name mentioned. I'd be a bit antsy about
a modem that's a supposed "$399 value" going for $169. There's got to be a
catch. Hmmm..no mention is made of MNP 5, maybe that's why.
