This is what I had hoped. (wiping brow with relief) However, what had
caught m eye was not so much the reader, as the data disks available for
it. e.g., encyclopedias, classical and modern works of fiction, fact, and
philosophy and so forth.
I just yesterday read an article in Amiga+ about Commodore's CDTV which
sounds like everything I was wanting and more. It looks very encouraging.
