Good for you, Jacquie! As it happens, my boss and I co-author a newsletter for our company. It's not an award-winner (in part 'cause it is a fairly minor part of our jobs, overall) but it does put out some good info. We use ProPage, by Gold Disk. I quite like it. It's powerful, but manageable. As for writer's block… Most people have their own thing, but many of us do simply write. For me, I write anything (or whatever) just to get into the writing frame of mind. Often, you (I should say I, not you) will end up scrapping most, if not all that you've done during your 'blocked' time. No matter! The imporant step is getting SOMEthing out, getting something going. Knowing that I'll toss whatever I do next gives me the courage to begin typing it. Sometimes, I'll get started by simply typing non-sense. This gets me relaxed, and into the typing/output mode. At some point, after a couple paragraphs of gibberish, I'll simply find myself writing what I wanted to write in the first place. I guess the way different writers differ in their treatment of writers block differs only in their *method* of self-start. I've never met a writer who concoured writers block by *not* writing, so that must be a key element. Let me know how things progress, eh? –Paul Christian Nelis
