I'd be interested to see how you are doing this. How large are your 3 boxes in
relation to the overall box? Are you able to keep the edges from developing
angles where the boxes end and the skin begins? I had imagined that you were
doing it with a series of very thin boxes.
Not to raise anyone's competitive hackles, but Animation Master might also be
an alternative. I've tried to curtail my brand loyalty once I overcame my Mac
bias when I discovered how much better/cheaper 3ds was compared to
ElectricImage. Now I'm much more interested in finding the best tool for each
specific job, and AM has some formidable character animation features. But
overall I like 3ds better. After all, I did MY first major character animation
on it.
