Have we started to wonder if the 'huge program base' argument for using the
MS-DOS machines is still valid, whhen everyone wants software which will
multi-task in a windowed environment? It seems like everyone has to start
over on writing the software base, or people have to put up with slow
performance on fast hardware.. and only give up about 8megs of hd space to
achieve what my A1000 could do512k 4 years ago.
