I agree, you shouldn't have to fine-tune things… but it might improve
performance. I think these options are deep in the PIF editor. They let
you tune the relative number of time slices that the program gets, when it
runs in exclusive mode, whether Windows should try to detect busy-wait
loops, things like that.
To play devil's advocate, Windows *did* run your program, right ?
