Define "popular". A few years back, many people would've dreamed of "2 million Amigas sold" as being sufficient :-). When you bought your Amiga, you _knew_ it was for the "technomaniac fringe" (as you put it)… so why worry _now_ whether it gets Lotus 1-2-3 etc on it or not?? If you needed 1-2-3, you would've gotten a PC in the first place, yah? People who need to feel like part of a crowd, can get C64s and PCs. So what do you want? 40 million sold like PCs? Ain't gonna happen. The biggest reason PCs sold so well, was because there were lots of cheap clones out there… Macs and Amigas don't have that huge advantage. Porting PC software to the Amiga, really just points out the PC software is more desireable, don't you think? I'd rather see _better_ software on the Amiga, instead. best – kev
