If you adjust the Cache setting to use more RAM example 1024 (one
meg.) the process will take about 45 minutes.
We have 4 Amigas and 5 Hard Drives and have only had to a LOW-LEVEL
format on one of them two years ago. The above info WILL fix the problem
of it taking so long to optimize your Hard Drive. If you have Hard Drive
Read-Write Errors then a LOW-LEVEL FORMAT would be beneficial.
