Heh. Well, I hardly intended to start this spirited debate, and I hope to become friends with everyone here as I move into the Amiga world from my former home in 8-bit land. I would like to say though, that I think that 90%+ originality as far as ideas go is not too bloody bad for a large scale BBS software system. I fully agree that CODE should never be borrowed or stolen, and I have no respect for anyone who has taken MY code in the past and used it as the basis to develop some other idea. If someone wants to emulate the command structure of one of my systems IN THEIR OWN ORIGINAL CODE, I can hardly stop them, and indeed it could be considered a form of flattery.
