Kevin, When you want to compare figures, you should make sure you specify the HARD DRIVES tested, the PROGRAMS used to test and HOW FULL the drives are. I have a Seagate 157N and a Syquest hooked up to my ICD now. And yes, you'll do at LEAST as well as the HardFrame, if not better. Especially in the CRITICAL 512 BYTE test of Dperf3, where it will be almost double the speed of most controllers I've seen. You may want to get a decent 16 bit RAM card (like I did) so that the ICD doesn't set up its buffers in CHIP ram. Since the 32 Bit Ronin (Imtronics) ram isn't added until AFTER the HD is autoconfigured, you should have some autoconfigured 16 bit RAM in your system for the buffers. Other than that (which is a Ronin/Imtronics anomaly, not ICD's) you won't have any problems, and you won't be disappointed. And you'll get your hard drive(s) up and running. Lloyd
