Given the track capability of B&P, is there some reason that just keeping
the tracks separate and then using pipes to merge them at play time is
ruled out? If you needed to merge them for a particular purpose, such as
printing, you could always do that to another track. For B&P to do what you
ask internally, it would have to pretty much do the same thing. (Or, am I
missing something here?)
