Yeah, I used to run out of one of the ink colors too… with the other two
going strong. But the alternative would be to have four cartridges (rather
than just two) and that would have raised the cost. I suppose they took
the most 'normal' way out and just put all the color in one cartridge.
Hey, at least the PJ has a seperate black cartridge. With the DJ500C
printer you need to switch ink cartridges just to go from Black to color…
a pain IMHO. But cheaper they told me, so I suppose we can all live with
it.
