ADPro allows color seperations via its 'Seperation' button. (so do other
progs, but you mentioned you had ADPro….)
From the Toaster, you process could go something like:
1) get the image you want in your framestore.
2) go to the disk screen of the Switcher. That will have an option
for saving the image as a 24bit IFF file, if I recall correctly.
I hope someone else more familiar with the Toaster can verify this,
cause my familiarity is limited.
3) after it has been saved, exit the Toaster and run ADPro. Load the
image into ADPro and scale it, etc as you want. Then you can run
the Seperation feature on it.
A thought…. I'd bet that some of these tee-shirt places (particularly
novelty type stores) would accept IBM disk based images for tee-shirt
decoration? If so you could just save the image in whatever format the
place wants (PCX, GIF, etc) from within ADPro. Then xfer the image over to
a IBM-formatted disk, and away you go. Very simple.
The key first step is to find a tee-shirt or novelty store that will do it,
and find out what their requirements are. Then you can work towards that.
