Regarding the new version of NAVFlyer, registered shareware with with mouse
support:
CN<<<<I've only had a few minuets to play with it on a 486 with a PCI bus but I
am impressed with the speed. It makes the mouse fell downright elegant too!
Maybe today I can get it onto my pentium.>>>>>
music to my ears
CN<<<Gulp- my computer just ate your last e-mail to me regarding the positions
from which to sample the frame rates of mgnavflyer. Could you send them to me
again? <<<<
from my previous mail….regarding Museum frame rates using Museum.dxf:
We are compiling a list of performance results from customers when the model
first comes up and you just start to fly forward. Hit 'I' immediately and
read the frame rate. Also we are recording the rate as you just enter the door
itself.
Important:
Let me know your CPU, amount of RAM, which graphics card you have (brand and
model name), if a VESA driver is loaded (which one) and your frame speeds to
add to my list. Also, and most importantly, which display configuration you are
using, meaning what is being used as the DISPLAY environmental variable. Check
the startup batch file you get the best performance on for what this DISPLAY is
set to. I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks for the ongoing good words. I will get back to you about the MFA
program as soon as my mind settles, (someday soon in my life maybe <BG>)
Angela
TIA for the help in getting your frame rates. Be SURE to include all the
relevant system info.
