Paul, what in the heck are you talking about? 🙂 "just copy the 2.04 ROM to a file on your HD and then abort the boot and transfer the pseudo RAM on disk" Can you expand on that? I have a friend who is in this fix, and I'd sure like to know how he can get this fixed. Thanks…. BTW, I haven't seen anyone comment on how ironic it is that Commodore finally releases 2.04, but all their earlier 68020/30 board customers can't use it till the upgrade to the dang 6.0 ROMS or such. Geez…. didn't they have any machines around West Chester that they had this problem with? Didn't they maybe think, "Hey, maybe we better order a large supply of the 6.0 roms *now*, cause they sure will be popular later!" Frankly, I think they should just automatically have sent all dealers plenty of the roms, so that the fix could be done at same time as the 2.04 upgrade. Or maybe just included the roms in the upgrade kit to start with? What's a little silicon? Save the beaches? 🙂 –jp–seattle–
