I'm no guru in these matters, but methinx for starters, I'd boot a scratch
system and try it to eliminate other TSRs that might be hogging things up.
In any case, I'd also probably start with a 16550. The 16550 has a
built-in buffer to hold those overruns during high speed xfers. The comm
program needs to be able to enable that feature in the UART, and while I'm
not positive, knowing Chuck, I'm sure that Proyam has that ability.. connie
