Does TeX provide any of the features with only a few keystrokes? Spell Checker Thesaurus Ability to transfer files from IBM WP or Word for Windows Automatic Hyphenation Tab alignment on any character Full, customizeable support of custom printer features Controllable margin indent, unindent, L/R indent Data file/Mail Merge Automatic correct placement of footnotes and endnotes Multi-columns support, adjustable throughout the page Full control of printer fonts and line spacing I don't know if it does or not–maybe it does. If so, I need to look at it. I've used all these features when writing college papers. As far as I've seen, WP is the only program on the Amiga with all of them. And they're all available with two to three keypresses, or a single menu item choice. That makes a big difference when I'm writing… Being able to grab a format item from a menu or a quick keypress is very important when you're trying to get ideas on paper. And I can't stand "writing now and formatting later." But that's just me.
