Well said…If you don't try to accomplish something, you won't have any problems. I like the "political" version of libertarianism as opposed to the economic or "utilitarian" version of libertarianism. You and both oppose totalitarian regimes (right wing or left wing) that trample upon individual rights. This is probably a "universal" problem. I suspect that Russian workers and Managers oppose totalitarian bosses and bureaucrats just as much as I do. Many of the interesting technological artifacts of our system, including radio, TV, airplanes, jet engines, radar, nuclear power, computers and the interstate highway system were created not by the "free market" but by collective action purchasing the services of free markets. Interestingly, in the middle ages, War was free market. Any Baron who could afford to hire an army, could. And the rich ones hired armies and conquered their neighbers to become richer. The concept of a "state run" military, accountable to a voting public… either through the President or through Congress is relatively new from a historical point of view.
